It was hot out there today. Too hot in fact. In the marquee it was nearly 45 degrees and our staff had to wear Tier 3 PPE. Due to uncertainty with supplies and in order to allow us to prepare for the vaccination of 5-11 year olds in January, our vaccination will close over the Christmas period. The Clinic will be closed from 24th December -10th January 2022. When this decision was made the interval for the 3rd dose was 6 months which meant most people in Mansfield were unable to receive this booster until January. However this has now changed. Currently there is a 5 month interval required between your second dose and your booster.   There is currently a 3 hour wait to get tested. We are closing the gates at 2:00pm rather than the scheduled 3:00pm.   This is to enable us to get the swabs to the laboratory and get results back as quickly as possible.   Any swabs taken after the courier leaves will not be sent until the following day.   We apologise if you planned to get tested after 2:00pm.
