PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION
In response to the threat posed by COVID-19 in our health service we have implemented visiting restrictions.These are in place to protect our community’s most vulnerable people and to assist us to continue to have the resources to provide health care over the coming months.
In summary:
There is a restriction on all visitors into Buckland House Nursing Home. That is, visits are not permitted, unless in special circumstances approved by us. THIS SITUATION WILL BE REVIEWED WITH RESIDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES THIS WEEK
The same visiting restrictions also apply to Bindaree Retirement Centre. THIS SITUATION WILL BE REVIEWED WITH RESIDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES THIS WEEK
There is a restriction on visiting hours into the hospital where unless there are special circumstances that are approved by us, visits are restricted to 2 visitors per day each for a maximum of 30 minutes, whereby visitors visit one patient only.
THE FRONT ENTRANCE TO THE HOSPITAL IS LOCKED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00PM AND 8:00AM
Members of the public who aren’t employees, contractors, are not visiting or receiving health care should not attend any of MDH’s buildings.
Children under the age of 16 are not to enter health service buildings.
We apologise for this severe disruption as we are well aware the importance of maintaining social contact, however presently the health and safety of our community is our number 1 priority.
